Esther L. Balch
Esther Louise Balch, 87, of Du Quoin, passed away at 1:40 A.M., Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Esther had been a waitress at the Perfection Club for many years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin. Esther was a loving grandmother.
She was born April 6, 1933 at Ashley, IL, the daughter of William and Alma (Langa) Kramm.
She married Edmond John Balch on September 13, 1952 at Radom, IL and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2013.
She is survived by one son – Ron Balch of Murphysboro, three grandchildren – Mark Balch and wife Jenny of Omaha, NE, Eric Balch and wife Jayne of Omaha, NE, and Allison Mileur and husband Ginseng of Murphysboro, ten great grandchildren – Madelyn, John, Andrew, Gretchen, Mariella, Sawyer, Lilianne, Abraham, August, and Lorelei.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter – Diane Balch, one daughter-in-law – Jeanna Balch, and one brother – John Kramm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Fr. Joseph Oganda officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M., Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
