Two Thefts in Nashville

The Nashville Police Department had a busy few weeks. First, on the 25th, there was a robbery at Meyer’s Greenhouse & Nursery, LLC. Police report that $2,626 worth of merchandise including yard art, decorations, tree saplings, etc., were taken from the property over night. Police have since arrested Tara King for the theft, and the stolen merchandise was returned. King has been involved in many different thefts in the metro-east area over the past three years, according to police, including the theft at another greenhouse in Belleville in 2018.

On Sunday the 28th, police were involved in an incident involving four juveniles at the Roll ‘n Up Smoke Shop and Liquor on E St. Louis Street in Nashville. The theft resulted in a car chase, which ended when another police unit arrested the four juveniles in Mt. Vernon on charges in relation to the vehicle pursuit, according to police. The Nashville Police is currently processing charges regarding the theft, according to police, and are waiting for them to be finalized.
