Gale M. Clark

Mrs. Gale M. Clark of Nashville, IL, departed this life at her residence on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 7:03 PM.  She had attained the age of 67 years, 1 month and 23 days.

Mrs. Clark was born on March 5, 1954 at Madison, WI, the daughter of Verlin F. and Elizabeth C. (Kaja) Hardy.  She was united in marriage to Scott Clark on July 3, 1971 in Ohio and he survives her passing.

Gale worked for many years as a clerk for Kroger in Nashville, IL.  She was of the Christian faith and served on the board of the Washington County Vocational Workshop.  Gale enjoyed gardening, flowers, crossword puzzles and reading.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband Scott Clark of Nashville, IL; three children, Veronica Knolhoff and husband Doug of Hoyleton, IL, Kelly Clark and wife Beth of O’Fallon, IL and Justin Clark and wife Amy of Belleville, IL; seven grandchildren, Mallory, Evan and Addison Knolhoff, Kylie and Dakota Clark and Owen and Nora Clark; special family who she loved like her own, Ryan Blumhorst and wife Amy of New Minden, IL and their children John and Sam Blumhorst; two sisters, Pam Hornbeck of Kansas City, MO and Shelly Hardy of Nashville, IL; mother-in-law, Suzanne Clark of Nashville, IL; sister-in-law, Lisa Hardy of Newerk, OH;

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jim Hardy and father-in-law, Lee Clark.

Per the wishes of Gale and her family, cremation was performed and there will be no public services.

Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Washington County Vocational Workshop or the WCVW CILA House and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
