“Safer At Home Campaign”

The Addieville Fire Department partnered with the Addieville Area Jaycees and Weeke Sales And Service to announce their “Safer at Home Campaign”.  On Saturday, May 1st, from 8-11 a.m. any current resident of Washington County could stop by the Addieville Fire station and receive one smoke detector or combination smoke/carbon monoxide detector for their home at no cost.  This campaign was made possible by the generous donations from the Addieville Area Jaycees and Weeke Sales and Service.  Smoke detectors are an essential part of a home fire escape plan.  The mission with this campaign was to outfit more homes in Washington County with working smoke detectors to protect and save lives.
