Mr. Robert W. Landers, Sr. of Nashville, IL, departed this life surrounded by loving family at his daughter’s residence in Nashville on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 11:31 A.M. He had attained the age of 66 years, 7 months, and 6 days.
Mr. Landers was born on February 21, 1956, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Luther and Virginia (nee Wilson) Landers.
Robert was a self-employed basement water proofer. Robert had a love for motorcycles and cars, and he enjoyed working on them and going to motorcycle rallies.
Left to mourn his passing is his three children, Shannon (Kara) Sharp of Bethalto, IL, Sean (Rhonda) Sharp of Waterloo, IL, and Katie (Brayden) Landers of Nashville, IL; 8 grandchildren, Kaleigh Kincannon, Riley Sharp, Hunter Bonds, Quentin Kretzer, Sunshine Sharp, Sean Patrick Sharp, Shayla Sharp and Hailey Frantz; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Kathy (David) Buttig of Belleville, IL; nieces, nephews, other relation, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Robby Landers, brother, Charles Landers and sister, JoAnn Landers.
Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 10 A.M. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Sunday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Monday from 8 A.M. until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
