William Euclid Brostmeyer, age 64, of Tamaroa, IL, passed away in his home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 9:10 a.m. with his family and friends by his side.

Bill was born on August 3, 1958 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to Euclid William and Betty Ann (Mohr) Brostmeyer. On March 26, 1982, he married Melissa Ann Feltmeyer at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL and she survives. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL. In addition to milking cows and helping local farmers, Bill had worked at Nascote in Nashville and Gateway FS in Oakdale and Mulkeytown. He enjoyed deer hunting, camping, metal scrapping, playing Solitaire and Freecell, and collecting beer cans. He liked listening to Christian music and loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Melissa Brostmeyer of Tamaroa, IL; two daughters, Annette (Chris) Duvardo of Tamaroa, IL and Amber Brostmeyer (Christian Boyles) of Salem, IL; a sister, Carol (Don) LePere of Ava, IL; mother-in-law, Karen Feltmeyer of Pinckneyville, IL; three grandchildren, Parker, Hunter, and Mathew Duvardo; two granddogs, Buddy and Wrigley; two brothers-in-law, Damon (Jill) Feltmeyer and Billy (Renee) Feltmeyer, all of Tamaroa, IL; godfather, Bob Mohr; a godson, Braydon Schubert; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Amanda Brostmeyer; a son in infancy, Adam William Brostmeyer; godfather, Norman Brostmeyer; father-in-law, Leroy E. Feltmeyer; and a brother-in-law, Duane E. Feltmeyer.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jason Eisele officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.

Visitation will be at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday morning at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL or to the family for medical expenses.
