The Sons of the American Legion inaugural “Meat, it’s what’s for dinner” competition BBQ cookoff took place on Saturday, April 1 at the American Legion in Nashville.
Hickory Stick BBQ placed first overall, Must B Smokin Something placed second overall and Hog Heaven BBQ placed third overall.
3 Stooges BBQ placed first in the chicken wings category, Dr. Smoke placed second in the chicken wings category and Hickory Stick BBQ placed third in the chicken wings category.
Hog Heaven BBQ placed first in the ribs category, Dirt Slingers BBQ placed second in the ribs category and Rubbin N Grillin placed third in the ribs category.
Hickory Stick BBQ placed first in the pork category, while Scheite Vauh Doht and Must B Smokin Something tied for second place in the pork category.
In the people’s choice category, Chaos BBQ placed first, Sweet Azz Smoke placed second and Dr. Smoke placed third.
