A 44-year-old woman from Vacaville, California was arrested on a drug charge on Tuesday, April 11.
According to a press release from the Nashville Police Department, Sabrina Worsham was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance for possessing approximately 51 grams of suspected Psilocybin mushrooms. She was also issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle and received additional verbal warnings.
At approximately 11:05 p.m., the Nashville Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Worsham’s vehicle for an equipment violation in the area of North Mill Street near East Second Street.
While speaking with Worsham, police reportedly obtained reasonable suspicion that further criminal activity was afoot, and officers contacted the department’s K9 to respond to the scene.
The K9 performed an exterior sniff search of the vehicle and gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics present within the vehicle.
Police conducted a search of the vehicle, which revealed suspected cannabis products and a large quantity of suspected Psilocybin mushrooms and additional controlled substance pills.
Worsham was placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail where she was charged.
