Mrs. Kelly Renee Cameron of Nashville, IL, departed this life on Sunday April 23, 2023, at the Carlyle Healthcare Center in Carlyle, IL. She had attained the age of 62 years, 7 months and 27 days.
Kelly was born in Terra Haute, IN on August 26, 1960, the daughter of Gary and Sharon Purdy. She was united in marriage to Robert Cameron at Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville, IL on August 20, 1977 and he survives her passing.
Kelly was baptized into the Christian faith by her great grandfather, Rev. Bowles.
Kelly held several jobs early in her life before working 20 plus years at the Washington County Courthouse.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Robert Cameron of Nashville; two children, Elizabeth (Danny) Collins and Eric (Kristy) Cameron; eight grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, Carson and Christopher Collins and Linley, Jace, Rook and Avien Cameron; parents, Gary and Sharon Purdy; five sisters, Pam (Gary) Koshinski, Kim (Robert) Eaton, Lori (Steve) Bluemner, Lisa (Jay) Deterding, Missy (Craig) Bost as well as numerous other family members, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant grandson, Lucas Cameron.
Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Stacy Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the Ashley Cemetery in Ashley, IL.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 8:00 A.M. until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
