JAMES W. “BILL” WATTS
Mr. James William “Bill” Watts of Nashville, IL, departed this life at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville, IL on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 6:50 P.M. He had attained the age of 72 years, 7 months and 25 days.
Bill was born on August 30, 1950, in Red Bud, IL the son of James and Imogene (nee Decker) Watts.
Bill worked as a laborer for many years, ran auto salvage businesses in Wamac and East St. Louis, IL and he put his final working years in on the family farm. Bill loved his dogs and enjoyed day trading the stock market.
Left to mourn his passing is his daughter Beth Watson; two brothers, Tom Watts and wife Kathy of Nashville, IL and Eric Watts and wife Eve of Omaha, NE; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew James Brian Watts.
Per the wishes of Bill and his family, cremation will be performed. There will be no public services.
Should friends desire memorials can be made to the St. Francis CARE- Animal Shelter and Washington County Partners for Pets and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
