SHARON ELIZABETH WILBERN

Sharon Elizabeth Wilbern, 65, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 6:48 A.M., Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
Sharon had worked at Gilster-Mary Lee and was also a cook at the Hen House in Okawville. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill. Sharon enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Cardinals baseball fan.
She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
She was born June 19, 1957, at Nashville, IL, the daughter of Leonard and Rosalia (Barnowski) Jurkowski.
Sharon is survived by her sister – Marilyn Fisher and husband Rick of Pinckneyville, brother – Michael Jurkowski and wife Anita of Radom, nieces and nephews – Devin Fisher, Alex Fisher, Cassie Fisher and fiancÈ Bryant Shute, Justin Jurkowski and wife Holly and Chelsea Jurkowski, great nieces and great nephews – Lyle Dean Fisher, Glory Hodge-Fisher, Logan Jurkowski, Levi Jurkowski and one on the way, Quincie Rose Shute.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private family service will be held along with burial at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery.
Friends may make memorials to Masses or St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
