NMS Boys and Girls Track Place First in Breese

The Nashville Middle School boys and girls track teams both took first place on Tuesday, April 25 at Mater Dei Catholic High School in Breese. The girls team finished with 102 points and the boys team finished with 79 points.
First place finishers for the girls team included Makayla Gajewski in shot put and discus, Evie Reams in the 1600, Ryann Goforth in the 400 and 200, Mylah Grapperhaus-Bateman in the 100 hurdles and the 4×400 relay team. Second place finishers for the girls included Reagan Robinson in discus, Reams in the 800, Kinley Povolish in the 100 hurdles and the 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams. Third place finishers for the girls included Khloe Robinett in the long jump and Calleigh Dees in the 400 and 800. Dees placed fourth in the long jump. Fifth place finishers for the girls included Robinett in the 100 and Robinson in the shot put.
First place finishers for the boys included Witten Piasecki in long jump, Tyson Behrmann in high jump, Grady Varel in the 800 and 1600 and the 4×400 relay team. Second place finishers for the boys included Piasecki in high jump, Behrmann in long jump and Jace Hunter in the 100 hurdles. Third place finishers for the boys included Aidan Verges in discus and Hayden Kirchner in the 100 and 200. Fourth place finishers for the boys included Carter Czerwonka in long jump, Carter Seaton in discus, Verges in the 400 and the 4×100 relay team.
Nashville Middle School track also had a meet at Sparta on Wednesday, April 26.
First place finishers for the girls team included Goforth in the 400, Reams in the 1600 and the 4×400 relay team. Second place finishers for the girls included Gajewski in shot put and discus, Dees in the 400, Reams in the 800 and Goforth in the 200. Third place finishers for the girls included Robinson in discus, Robinett in long jump, Dees in the 800 and the 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams. Fourth place finishers included Robinson in shot put, Povolish in the 100 hurdles and Robinett in the 100.
First place finishers for the boys team included Braylin Storey in the 100 hurdles and Varel in the 1600. Second place finishers for the boys included Varel in the 800 and the 4×400 relay team. Kirchner placed third in the 200 and Verges placed fourth in discus.
