At its Thursday, May 25 meeting, the Nashville School District 49 Board approved the 2023-2024 school year student handbook and a three-year extension to the transportation contract with Robinson Transport.

District 49 Superintendent Michael Brink said the student handbook was approved with only one minor revision.  He said the transportation extension was approved with increases very similar to NCHS. NCHS Superintendent Brad Turner told the NCHS Board last month that there is a proposed 27.5% increase for year one of the contract extension, primarily due to driver pay increasing.

The board also approved several personnel items including:

Letters of retirement from Michelle Ratermann and Linda Klingenberg effective May 2027.

Letter of resignation from Shaye Wiegmann.

Letter of resignation from Tierney Moore from her softball coaching position.

Letter of resignation from Will Reinburg from his track coaching position.

2023-2024 coaching and extracurricular list.

Employment of special education teacher Tessa Reves for the 2023-2024 school year.

Employment of permanent substitute Kim Fairbanks for the 2023-2024 school year.

Employment of permanent substitute Dana Haertling for the 2023-2024 school year.

Employment of part-time permanent substitute Jeanne Morris for the 2023-2024 school year.

Summer custodial help.
