  Emergency personnel were called to the Road Ranger truck stop in Okawville at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon for reports of two Dumpsters on fire. Okawville Fire Department Washington County Ambulance and Okawville Police Department responded.     Community Center of Nashville Homecoming Barbecue Cook-off

    Community Center of Nashville presents the annual Homecoming and Barbecue Cook-off on Saturday, Oct. 5 The outdoor event is from 2 p.m. to midnight, and it features cook-off and tasting starting at 2 p.m. There is a bags tournament, 50/50 drawing and  by Hicks and Banks at 8 p.m.

    Cost is $15 per ticket and rinks available for purchase.
