Community Thanksgiving Service
On Sunday, November 24 at 7pm, Trinity Lutheran Church of Nashville will host a community
Thanksgiving service, open to the public. Member churches of the Washington County Ministerial
Alliance come together each year to put on a joint thanksgiving service, dating back to the 1970s, so the
WCMA invites you to be part of this community tradition. This year’s service will be more of a concert
and will feature the music of For Heaven’s Sake, Southern Illinois’ premiere Southern Gospel music trio.
The service this year will also raise funds for the Alliance’s Good Samaritan Fund and Disaster Relief
Fund, both of which benefit those in need in our community and beyond.
Starting at 6:30pm is the customary Southern Gospel Sing-Along, led by Nashville’s own Brian Rusiewski.
Doors open at 6. Come give thanks to the Lord thought music and have a good time for a good cause!
