Okawville High School Places First In Academic Challenge Competition

The Annual Academic Challenge was held at Kaskaskia College on February 6. Fifteen district high schools were in competition in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering Graphics, English, Math, and Physics. Students from St. Ann Catholic School recently participated in a Speech Meet at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Herrin. The final speech meet of the year which includes schools from all over the Diocese of Belleville, will be held on Saturday, April 29 at St. Ann in Nashville.
