Hiring Todd Marver as reporter for The Nashville News was the best decision made by the paper in years. He gives in depth information on the Nashville City Counsel & Washington County Board meetings. It’s almost worth the money spent on a subscription, still it would be better if the paper would put the names of the people when a photo is submitted. Especially with the recent teams who have won state championships.
At 5pm on Columbus Day, we noticed a split in the fork of a large tree in our yard. We left a message for Joe Price of Pride Tree Service because the tree could take out part of our new fence and/or hit our neighbors house. Joe called back and came to look at the tree within 20 minutes. After discussing things, he came back with his boom truck and cut off the risky part of the tree before dark. Great service that dropped our stress level!
I would like to say how much I enjoy reading the Physician’s weekly articles on the current Covid issues. He is so informative and though some will not agree with his beliefs and the actual facts, wake up people. I just pray that if 1 person believes him and gets vaccinated it may save iives. His article is the first thing I read when are paper arrives. Thank you for sharing his articles and I thank him for writing them.
Thumbs up to GDB International for providing hand sanitizer to local businesses! Nice coverage of a generous local company.
Hat’s off to the men who cleaned up the streets downtown this week! Tuesday morning downtown was a mess, and by the afternoon they were out plowing and scraping downtown…Still out there cleaning up Wednesday and Thursday!
Job well done guys! We all Thank You!
This weeks Paper was a very nice tribute to those we have lost this past year! Thank You
Hats off to whomever thought of decorating the trees along main street uptown. Wonderful idea.
Derrick Rybacki 41 of Nashville has transformed his whole life. He quit drinking almost 2 years ago and since then has joined Heith Pedigos Jujitsu fighting in Mt. Vernon. He got his first stripe after a year, and has lost over 100lbs. He also celebrated over 20 years at his job. I’m so proud of him.
